Zoe Tay graces her 10th cover with ICON’s 200th issue

Singapore — Singapore’s “Ah Jie” (big sister) Zoe Tay still maintains her good looks despite her age (53). The former model and media favourite is one of the first batches of actors to receive the Star Awards All-Time Favourite Artiste award.

So far, she has received four Star Awards for Best Actress, a record for the most number of wins in the category. Recently, Tay graced the cover of ICON magazine. It is her 10th cover with the publication of the magazine’s 200th issue.

Tay looked stunning in a black, off-shoulder number with her long hair slicked back.

“Big congratulations to ICON on your 200th issue milestone! So honoured to be part of this special November issue. ❤ This is also my 10th cover with the magazine! Thank you for having me and wishing ICON continued success!” wrote Tay in a social media post in English and Chinese.

The Facebook post received 1K likes and 28 comments. The comments are mostly GIF animations saying ‘Beautiful’. A day after the magazine cover post, Tay uploaded a video of herself in black holding an Armani Beauty makeup item. In her post Tay said that she had lots of fun chatting about beauty trends, makeup and skincare with Sonia Chew and Rebecca Lim in her first ever livestream event with Armani Beauty the night before.

Tay started her debut in modelling when she was 16. In 1987 she was named Model Of The Year. She was crowned the champion of the inaugural Star Search in 1988 where she was offered a 3-year contract with the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC), now known as MediaCorp. /TISG
