TN50 on right track with the ‘people’ first in line!

National Transformation 2050 or TN50 came back with a bang, after the backlash of the Mat Over slap on movie producer David Teo and the rant of a television personality.

This time, they lined up a plethora of big names as their second batch of ambassadors.

Indeed, this is the playfield for the rich and famous, whereas TN50 is about inclusivity, or not!

Ten new faces, including famous celebrity Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, are the new ambassadors.

The appointment was announced by Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin who also expressed ‘hope’ that these new ambassadors would encourage more involvement from the youths to be part of TN50.

That means getting the rich and famous to bring the young people to join the TN50 agenda.

But the minister made it clear though: TN50 is not a government propaganda machine, it is the aspiration of the people.

Incredibly enough, there are political figures among the Ambassadors, that is politicians linked to the government.

Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah deputy president Arthur Joseph Kurup is among them.

There is also a ‘Fatwa’ expert Datuk Izhar Afiff. Let us wonder then.

Yep, the people who are left behind in line and when one want to ask questions, they get slapped while other are complaining they did not get the seat after getting an invite to a rather small event!

However, the minister confessed that 700,000 youths have been reached through various programmes and engagement and more than 30,000 hopes and aspirations have been gathered.
