SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force is appealing for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Ms Kayverlyn Tan Min Er, who has been missing since Aug 19, 2026.

Police said she was last seen at about 10:40 am that day in the vicinity of Westwood Avenue. She was wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts at the time.

The appeal was issued on Aug 21, 2026, as police sought the public’s help in locating her. For a missing-person appeal, even a small piece of information can help.

If someone has seen her while travelling, walking through the area, or simply noticed something that seemed unremarkable at the time, it can all assist in giving the police helpful clues in the search.

The public is asked to share information on the missing teenager

Anyone who may know where Kayverlyn is, or has information that could assist the police, should contact the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.

Information can also be submitted online through the Singapore Police Force’s I-Witness platform at www.police.gov.sg/i-witness. The police said all information provided will be kept strictly confidential.

The police, however, aren’t asking members of the public to investigate the case themselves. They are only asking anyone with relevant information to pass it on through the proper channels.

A missing-person appeal that needs public attention

Missing-person cases can easily become a community effort, as members of the public may notice details that investigators may not have seen directly.

Such appeals are critical. It gives people a way to report information without turning the search into speculation or online guesswork.

For Singaporeans who may come across information connected to the case, the sensible response is to contact the police rather than spread unverified claims online.

At its heart, if you know something that could help locate Kayverlyn, do tell the police. Any useful lead is far more valuable than just empty speculation.
