“Monster Dad” gets 24 strokes of cane and 48 years jail on 643 counts of daughter’s rape

The “Monster Dad” in Malaysia was sentenced for 48-year for a long list of sexual offenses towards his 15-year old daughter.

The heavy sentenced meted out to the “Monster Dad” for 623 counts of sexually abusing and sodomising his daughter should serve as a deterrent to child sexual offenders, the Sun reported.

The 36-year-old man, who is a unit trust agent, pleaded guilty to the 623 charges of sexually abusing and sodomising his 15-year-old daughter.

The man, a divorcee who has three daughters, was sentenced to a total of 28 years for committing incest, physical sexual assault without intercourse and abusing, neglecting and sexually abusing the girl.

He was also sentenced to a total of 20 years’ jail for sodomising the victim.

The story of the monster dad rocked the social media as usual, but it has since then died down – drawn in the euphoria of the Sea Games in particular – but the sentencing remains one of the heaviest meted out for such crimes.

Netizens are however flabbergasted that the rapist dad will be fed for 48 years. while others said there should be a universal law that would allow for the castration of such monsters.

Some netizens saluted the victim for her bravery to tell the world about the crime and for saving her sisters from the ordeal.

Some however called the man ‘animal’ and called for his immediate castration.

According to Islamic laws, for such a crime, there is the death penalty.
