According to reports, Doctor Strange actress Zara Phythian, 36, and her husband Victor Marke, 59, have been accused of many sex offences, including having intercourse with a 13-year-old child after grooming her.
The pair is accused of 14 counts of sexual behaviour with the minor, who is now an adult. The woman says the abuse went on for three years. However, the couples are denying the claims.
The story does not end there. The accuser, the woman abused as a teen, says Mr Marke allegedly threatened to smash her kneecaps if she told anyone about it.
Child actor Corey Feldman and his fellow child actor Corey Haim were one of the most popular teen pin-ups in the world back in the late 80s. They were known as the two Coreys.
Feldman came up with a story about sexual abuse he and Haim experienced in the film business. He made the claims after Haim died of pneumonia at the age of 38 in 2010 following years of painfully public substance addiction, reports The Guardian.
“The biggest problem in Hollywood,” he says, “is paedophilia.”
His fellow former child actor Alison Arngrim has also said, “I literally heard that [the Two Coreys] were ‘passed around’. The word was they were given drugs and being used for sex,” Fox News reported.
As for the case of Zara Phythian, the woman said the abuse started in 2005.
In an interview presented for jurors at Nottingham Crown Court, the anonymous lady told police that the pair, who were not married at the time, videotaped the majority of the assault.
At the time, Phythian and Marke were both martial arts teachers, and the lady described the former as a role model for her success in the area.
The pair allegedly offered her wine, and Phythian challenged her to perform oral sex on Marke, who then had intercourse with both of them, the woman said.
