Man receives traffic fine despite only parking to help another injured on the road

A video of a man being issued a fine for parking his car along double-yellow lines, despite only doing so because he was helping a man involved in an accident, has garnered many angry reactions from netizens.

The video, shared on Singapore Uncensored on Monday, has received almost 60 shares and 4,500 views.

In the video, a man films the traffic warden and says, “ Hi, as I mentioned, the taxi driver is down there, lying on the road”.

Despite this, the traffic warden can be seen taking photos of the man’s taxi.

In the middle of the video, a police officer runs towards the traffic warden to talk to him, and the man taking the video cuts in to add that the traffic warden’s motorcycle was parked against the very same double-yellow lines as well. The man adds, “don’t have double standards”.

The video ends with the police officer speaking to the traffic warden. While the outcome of the incident was unclear, netizens were very riled up that the man was not given a chance considering the circumstances.
