My boyfriend flirts with his colleague on Instagram, is he emotionally cheating on me? —  Girlfriend

A girlfriend who suspected her boyfriend of cheating took to social media to ask other netizens for their thoughts on the matter.

In an anonymous post to popular confessions page, SGWhispers, the girlfriend asked: “Is my boyfriend emotional cheating on me?”

She explained that her boyfriend got to know a girl from his workplace called Z. The two started to follow one another on Instagram and would reply to each others’ Instagram stories quite often, she wrote. “I mean I trusted my bf very much tbh. But one fine day, when I decided to use his phone, a notification from Z pops out from ig. So I clicked in… wow just wow, my bf is lowkey flirting with Z”, the girlfriend said.

She shared that when Z asked her boyfriend if he was going to the office the next day, he replied by asking if Z had missed him. “Seriously, even tho it might sound really mild but it hurts me damn badly. Like feeling betrayed? Idk if I can still trust my bf anymore … but I didn’t want to confront him either because I don’t want to make a big fuss out of this issue”, the girlfriend wrote.

She asked netizens if his behaviour was okay. Here’s what they said:

In another case, a man unable to break up with his girlfriend, yet unable to also happily stay in the relationship, asked netizens for advice on what to do.

The 38-year-old man, dating a 36-year-old woman, said that while he was initially very attracted to his girlfriend and thought of her as a fun person to be with, he now found that she would constantly make him “do stupid things for her”.

The man wrote that “She knows how to dress to make me sweat and shows off her best assets so I can overlook some of her flaws. She’s on the meaty side and I’m fine with that. I’m in the normal weight range and don’t mind being with a larger woman”.

Describing some of the things she would make him do, he wrote that she would ask him to buy her things late at night.
