WEIRD: Lee Hsien Yang’s Wife’s Photo Spotted on Ad for Dating Website

Lee Suet Fern’s photo has appeared in the thumbnail of a sponsored advertisement on Facebook with the caption, “Single women want to meet!”

Suet Fern has been married to founding Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew’s youngest son Lee Hsien Yang for the past 36 years, since 1981. The couple are parents to three grown sons.

The photo that appeared in the Facebook advertisement is the first photo that appears on a google search for Suet Fern:

The error appears to be made by Facebook’s advertisement algorithms as opposed to the dating website, be2.sg.

Suet Fern and her husband have been in the news recently due to the public Lee Family Feud that gripped the nation in June and July 2017, when Lee Hsien Yang and his sister Lee Wei Ling leveled allegations of abuse of power against their elder brother, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The siblings accused the PM of using his influence to preserve their family home, 38 Oxley Road, against the willed wishes of their father who desired that the house be demolished.
